Meet new people and enjoy group recreation through craft, exercise and other classes, discussion groups and dining out. Scheduled events and activities are available to all persons receiving services at the Center. The monthly recreation calendar is published in Sights & Sounds, the Center’s monthly newsletter.
LOW VISION GROUP
Are you interested in refreshing and warm chats among friends? Come rejuvenate your soul at our low vision group where we discuss issues and strategies that relate to low vision. We meet on the 1st Tuesday of every month from 10:00 - 11:00am at the Keen Age Center, 2141 Henry Luckow Lane in Belvidere.
BOWLING CLUB
If you used to bowl or are interested in learning how, you may want to join the Bowling Club, which meets twice a month (2nd and 4th Wednesday) from 11:00am - 2:00pm at Crossroads Christian Church bowling lanes. There is no cost for bowling, and shoes and balls are available. If interested, contact Bill Jennings at 398-6025.
"WOMEN LIVING WITH HEARING" LOSS GROUP
Need a cup of chicken noodle soup to warm the mind, heart, and soul? Then, come to the “Women Living with Hearing Loss” group, which meets on the 3rd Wednesday of every month! Any woman with a hearing loss is invited to attend. We meet from 6 to 7 p.m. at the Center for Sight & Hearing and chat about a variety of topics. Events for Individuals with Hearing Loss
